There is a video trending on YouTube at the moment that has been recorded by a man, staring women and aimed at the authorities.

Nothing new here, the ‘western world’ has been creating these types of videos for some years.  However, this video has been created in Saudi Arabia where Sharia Law exists.

It was my first day back at work today, after almost three week’s holiday. It was wonderful to have time off work, see the family and recharge the batteries. It’s amazing how hard we all work. I am sure that life is more complicated today than it was ten or twenty years ago! I accept that we have a lot of devices that make our lives easier, we can travel the world within 24 hours. The internet can help us see the world and speak to the family and friends who live in different towns and countries. However, I still think life is complicated, and there are more worries today. I don’t think it’s an age thing, honest, but I would love to hear your opinion on this. What do you think Is life getting harder? (more…)

I went to see my mother over the weekend and we started to talk about crafting and being talented. She told me that she isn’t talented at all and wishes she was more like her mother who could paint some of the most beautiful watercolour landscapes.

The Exhibition is underway

Publication5The Exhibition is under way.  We are having a wonderful response.  Still open until 4 pm today and tomorrow from 11 to 4 pm.  Come and join us.

If you can’t make the Exhibition why not join us in the Oral History Project and tell us your stories.  We would love to have them, especially the second world war.  Stories from the Land Girls etc.
